Jennifer
Jennifer came to LifeCore Yoga in the fall of 2012. After six months of recovery following the birth of my son, she was ready to get back on my mat and LifeCore was just the place. The time on her my mat was always precise to her before and after becoming Mom. It was on her mat that she first realized she was pregnant and now it is the first place she want to be when she has time away for herself.
Jennifer knew, coming to LifeCore, that she had found home when it took her less than 10 minutes to get to the studio and when you walk in, it felt like home away from home. She completed the Yoga Sculpt certification program from CorePower Yoga in October 2013 and started teacher training with the staff at LifeCore shortly thereafter. Her passion for weight training, an activity she used to enjoy with her husband before their son came along, inspires her whenever she comes to her mat for a Yoga to Tone class. Teaching at LifeCore is an outlet for her to share her passions for yoga and weight lifting, while at the same time, meeting new people and building new friendships.
When not teaching, Jennifer is a Hydrologist for the U.S Fish and Wildlife Service. Working out of the USFWS’s Regional Office in Bloomington, she spend her days running the water resources monitoring network and managing a hydrologic database for National Wildlife Refuges across the Midwest. In her spare time, Jennifer likes to write blogs about being a Hydrologist, garden, can vegetables and spend time with her family. Namaste.
