Yin Yoga October Focus: A Practice for the Fall

This 75-minute class is a quiet and reflective experience. Yin yoga works deeply into the connective tissues (ligaments, tendons and fascia), heals joints and increases flexibility.
October Yin Focus is a Practice for the Fall. In the autumn, the Chinese Five Elements system promotes the lung and large intestine meridian lines to ensure that sufficient heat is drawn inward and downward, preventing imbalances that often take place in the fall. This yin yoga practice will help restore your sense of balance after a long summer by calming the restless and anxious energy of fall through longer held postures to help prepare your mind, body, and spirit for the changing season.
